Chipps v. Yancey

The Supreme Court affirmed the lower court's decision, sustaining the plaintiff's demurrer to the defendant's plea of nil debet in a debt action from Kentucky. The appeal sought to reverse the ruling, but the Court upheld it.

Whitesides v. People

Whitesides and others were indicted for riot in the Madison County Circuit Court and found guilty. Whitesides appealed to the Supreme Court, which reversed the lower court's judgment because the indictment did not contain the proper language and the description of the riot was too vague.
